Job Description

That’s why we’re looking for a talented Senior Workforce Planning Program Manager to join Procore’s journey to revolutionize a historically underserved industry.

As a Senior Workforce Planning Program Manager, you’ll work cross-functionally on complex and highly impactful projects, such as the annual headcount planning process. You’ll help develop and implement workforce planning methodologies and common tools to identify the right mix of resources across our Product and Technology teams. 

This position will report to the Vice President of Program Management and can be based remotely in the U.S., or in any one of our U.S. offices. 

What you will do: 

  • Build planning and service delivery processes structurally and methodically with an eye toward strategic impact and process improvement.

  • Create, maintain and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual staff planning projections for all Product and Technology (P&T) departments, adhering to tight deadlines

  • Maximize the use of Workforce Management tools such as Tableau in projecting our staffing requirements

  • Analyze historical datasets to ensure that our teams are delivering against plans, with the ability to find actionable insights to drive improvements across our organization

  • Review and improve our planning processes consistently to ensure we maximize our effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve efficiency

  • Work with key stakeholders across P&T to ensure our plans are constantly reviewed and updated to contain up-to-date information

  • Build a strong working relationship with Operations, Engineering, Product, and Project/Program management teams to meet business objectives.

  • Work with our Data Science and Insights teams to identify analysis opportunities to drive improvements and ensure we are delivering plans

  • Collaborate with Finance team to deliver against monthly, quarterly, and annual budget targets

  • Deliver and present our long-term planning outputs on a monthly and quarterly basis to leadership teams across the organization

What we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent project/program management experience, with 3+ years of workforce planning experience

  • Ability to flex between long term strategic forecasting and short-term tactical planning in a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI); ability to model long-term staffing requirements in Excel

  • 3+ years of experience using Aspect or similar WFM tools

  • Advanced knowledge of key planning methodologies like Workload, Shrinkage, etc.

  • Intermediate knowledge of forecasting, quantitative modeling, and scenario analysis

  • Proven track record of delivering to targets within tight deadlines
