We are seeking a Technical Relationship Manager to work with HomeAway’s affiliated partners to successfully lead product integration projects, via API connections, from initiation to completion. This customer-facing role will have a tremendous impact on affiliated and partners’ perception of the integration and will contribute significantly to the HomeAway business. Reporting into the Manager Affiliate Partnerships Operations (Austin, TX), you will be working closely with your manager to: identify and structure key priorities, lead the affiliate pipeline (Jira tickets), support in creating API documentation and optimize workflow management.

What You'll Do:

Responsibilities

• Work with the account management team to coordinate the integration project kickoffs
• Outline the engagement process and make suggestions for improvement with the affiliated partner
• Provide standard methodologies for making the integration a success
• Validate and load test files, offering feedback for compliance and coordinate review sessions with the customer
• Configure and schedule integrations
• Become a functional authority for transactions we are integrating
• Communicate and report the status of all integration projects in Salesforce and Product meetings
• Work closely with the API Product Managers as technical issues arise during the implementation
• Involve Integration Support appropriately as issues arise post implementation

Who You Are:

Required Skills

• 2-5 years of Professional Services/Consulting Experience
• 2-5 years of Project Management Experience
• Familiar with Internet technologies and protocols (HTTP, SSL, REST, JSON, XML, etc)
• XML/JSON experience, specifically validating XML/JSON

Requested Skills

• Integration Experience (EAI or B2B)
• Integration platform experience
• Salesforce.com, Jira, XMLSpy experience is preferred
• Travel industry experience, particularly in the vacation rental space
• Bi or Multi-lingual – Fluent English and other languages preferred

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in diverse, fast paced environment
• Ability to adapt and master changes to technology and products.
• Ability to juggle many projects and initiatives simultaneously
• Demonstrated passion for customer service
