Your Mission:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new clients through various efforts including networking, company lead generation, and cold calling. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, has excellent communication skills, a team player mindset and eager to take their sales career to the next level.

What you’ll do on a daily basis:

• Identify target accounts and works with the VP of Sales to gain new business
• To aggressively develop new customers through various marketing efforts including networking efforts, phone calls, emails, referrals, social media, company lead generation, and cold calling
• Ability to learn, develop, and implement new ways for Shopgate to differentiate the company in the marketplace
• Researches the customers and partners of the customers to identify the decision makers, procurement processes, and any history that they may have had with Shopgate
• Plan, prepare, and execute discovery calls for prospective customers with the purpose of sustaining and growing the market share
• Follows up appropriately to generate productive meetings and calls

The Right Fit:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 3 Years related business experience with a strong emphasis on Sales, Customer Service, and Management
• Proficient in Salesforce.com, HubSpot, and Yesware. (Other Marketing Technology is a plus)
• Experience in Business-to-Business selling preferred
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude, self-motivated and a team player
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills and ability to connect with people
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite
