Manager, Sales Development

 

As a Sales Development Manager you will be responsible for driving continued success at the top of the funnel by leading the team of highly skilled SDRs. In this role, you’ll serve as a bridge between marketing and sales, helping with the planning, execution and follow-up of marketingcampaigns as well as responsible for pipeline generating activities that support the field sales organization via inbound lead follow up and outbound prospecting. 

 

Scope of Activities:

 

  • Proven history of hiring, coaching and mentoring Sales Development Representatives
  • Proven track record of successful execution of monthly, quarterly and annual meeting quotas
  • Define and execute on set goals and key performance indicators
  • Develop and implement prospecting best practices to include SDR Playbook and a Key Messaging Platform
  • Implement new processes, tools and sales methodologies to empower the team for success
  • Work closely with Regional Sales Managers on territory plans
  • Close collaboration with Marketing teams on demand generation activities, lead conversation metrics and pipeline contribution goals
  • Collaborate with Sales Ops to develop outbound target account lists

 

  • Create dashboard reports to submit to management for transparency and success factors
  • Maintain a technical knowledge of our solutions

 

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of sales development management experience, preferably in enterprise software
  • Understand the day-to-day of a Sales Development Rep and Account Executive
  • Ability to motivate team members, with sharp focus on metrics.
  • Strong coaching skills to help the team execute initial conversations, discovery calls and handle objections.
  • Work closely with Sales Leaders
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent phone and written communications skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree
