Business Development Specialist

Adlucent is searching for a Business Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about identifying and engaging with prospective clients who are responsible for online marketing and paid search spending decisions and is interested in growing their professional sales and marketing skill set.

The Role:
Work with the sales and marketing teams to identify potential clients, prospect qualified leads and help facilitate sales cycles
Assist with contact build-out and maintenance in Salesforce.com
Serve as a bridge between sales and marketing activities to build and enhance the delivery and execution of lead generation initiatives
Leverage the capabilities of sales tracking and automation tools like Salesforce.com and other CRM tools
Identify, qualify and research target clients and key executives/managers at these targets. Monitor changes in roles/personnel at key accounts
Plan, produce and execute targeted calling, social and email campaigns to high-value targets
Enhance the messaging and strategies to reach these targets and arrange introductory meetings
Assist with introductory calls and articulate the benefits of Adlucent’s solutions, approach and history
Keep thorough meeting notes for all sales interactions and document appropriately in Salesforce.com
Help develop and refine the qualification criteria to determine the most effective targets
Assist with the management and movement of qualified leads into active sales opportunities
Track statistics regarding the effectiveness of outbound lead generation activities and messages.
Gather, document and distribute feedback from targets to enhance sales and marketing positioning
Follow and share new developments involving competitors and potential clients
Must have:
1-3 years of inside sales or market development experience for a technology or services-based company
Proven success in prior sales experience
A passion for maintaining and nurturing professional relationships
Excellent time management skills. Must be organized, thorough and results-focused
Nice to have:
Experience prospecting retail clients
Start-up or non-traditional work environment experience
Experience working with Salesforce.com
