About the Role: We are looking for a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our team on a part-time or contract basis. This role offers remote work flexibility, with occasional visits to our Austin, TX, office. As a Web Developer at MML Hospitality, you will be crucial in developing and maintaining our websites and applications, ensuring they are user-friendly, responsive, and aligned with our vision. Candidates based in Austin, TX are strongly preferred.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and Maintain: Create and update web pages, ensuring functionality, responsiveness, and visual appeal. Write clean, efficient, well-documented code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Conduct thorough testing and debugging for high-quality performance.
- Collaborate: Work with the MML Creative Team to implement new features and improve user experience. Ensure responsive design for optimal performance across devices. Participate in weekly updates and planning meetings.
- Optimize Performance: Optimize code and troubleshoot issues to ensure websites load quickly and run smoothly. Utilize frameworks, libraries, and APIs to enhance functionality.
- Implement SEO Best Practices: Integrate SEO strategies to enhance site visibility and search engine rankings.
- Ensure Security: Implement security measures to protect websites from vulnerabilities and potential threats.
- Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for website issues as they arise.
- Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our websites remain modern and efficient.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of code, features, and processes for future reference and team collaboration.
