Designs, builds, tests, deploys, and supports IAM solutions for workforce and workload identities. Responsibilities include SSO integrations, identity governance, lifecycle management, RBAC and ABAC automation, access certifications, privileged access management, policy enforcement, and operational support with on-call participation. The role also develops automation using scripting and AI/LLMs, secures containerized platforms, implements Zero Trust controls, and integrates enterprise applications and SaaS solutions.

Leads customer-facing technical discovery, architecture, demonstrations, evaluations, proofs of value, and technical close for Cloudflare One solutions. Advises enterprise customers on Zero Trust, SASE, secure connectivity, WAN transformation, AI security, and related technologies. Partners with sales, product, engineering, support, and customers to drive successful evaluations, communicate business value, create reusable technical assets, and provide feedback for product improvement.

Identify, track, and mitigate sophisticated cyber threats and abuse across Cloudflare’s global platform. Analyze attacker tactics, techniques, procedures, network and metadata signals, and indicators of compromise. Build security detections, configure analytical rules, investigate threats in real time, and develop actionable threat intelligence. Communicate technical findings clearly to technical and executive stakeholders while collaborating on innovative approaches to threat detection and remediation.

Monitor and investigate security alerts, identify attacks, analyze traffic signatures, and recommend or implement mitigation strategies across OSI Layers 3, 4, and 7. The role supports sophisticated customers through chat, email, and phone; manages monitoring rules and incident tickets; produces attack reports; and collaborates with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to improve security tools. Weekend, holiday, and rotating 24/7 coverage is required.

Deliver post-sales advisory and hands-on implementation for application security and performance. Gather requirements, produce designs (HLD/LLD), build and migrate solutions, configure Cloudflare products, troubleshoot escalations, collaborate with support and engineering, and create operational assets, documentation, scripts, and automation to enable customer adoption and smooth transitions.

Design, build, and operate secure, resilient distributed systems for secrets and key management across Cloudflare's global network. Re-architect and strengthen internal PKI and machine/workload identity, support and run services (including on-call), and consult with teams to ensure secure system design and usage.

Design, build, run, and scale distributed tools and data pipelines to support threat disruption and platform abuse efforts. Translate legal and security requirements into scalable services, improve system architecture, monitor production (on-call), collaborate with Threat Intelligence, Legal and Product teams, and mentor other developers to promote testing and best practices.
