Provides on-site automotive technical support to GM dealerships and wholesale teams. Diagnoses vehicle and Techline issues, resolves escalated cases, supports repair and repurchase prevention, reviews dealership service readiness, trains personnel, troubleshoots IT and diagnostic tools, and reports product concerns to GM engineering and quality teams. The role manages territory relationships, supports arbitration and legal cases, and requires frequent travel, extensive automotive diagnostic experience, and strong customer and technical communication skills.

Define architecture and metrics for autonomous driving evaluation, lead cross-functional integration across autonomy and simulation teams, develop statistical and machine learning methods, analyze large-scale time-series data, manage evaluation KPIs and release gates, and communicate safety and readiness insights through dashboards and stakeholder presentations.

Develop ML/RL models and infrastructure for AV simulations, optimize training loops, and support project timelines in autonomous vehicle tech.

Lead the Mapping Engineering team as a Staff Software Engineer, focusing on designing scalable distributed backend systems for autonomous vehicle mapping, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring engineers.

Define and lead survivability strategy and roadmap for GM Defense. Determine in-house vs outsourced capabilities, establish partnerships, develop design/material/manufacturing standards, lead trade studies, define survivability requirements, guide analysis and validation approaches, assess vulnerabilities and integration risks, and work cross-functionally to embed survivability into product development.

The Technical Lead will architect and implement systems for data processing and testing workflows in the autonomous vehicle development space, optimize software engineering practices, and guide a team of engineers.
