CRM creator Signpost moved into a new office downtown this week, combining 97 employees in 10,500 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art space.

Signpost, which has 300 employees and offices in New York and Denver, previously split its Austin employees on two floors of a building in a North Burnet industrial park. The new office offers a view of the capitol from a fifth floor terrace and provides employees with common areas for team building over ping pong, foosball and cold brew coffee on tap. It also leaves the startup with plenty of room to grow its marketing tools platform for local business owners.

Sales Recruiter Kristi Morris said the move will be better for the company and its culture.

“Our last office was like being in Canada, location-wise,” she said. “There were wires everywhere and a Walgreens across the street, and no bars."

"Now there are better restaurants, and people are more willing to hang out here after work and socialize as teams,” Morris said. “It’s pretty awesome to be able to sit down and have breakfast with the engineers."

Morris said Signpost hopes to add 40 sales reps to its Austin sales force, as well as sales managers and national account reps.

Andrea Kayal, Vice President of Marketing, said offering employees access to local amenities and attractions was a high priority when searching for a new space.

“We’re near campus, and there’s a new garage opening across the street with some of the cheapest parking available downtown,” she said.

Signpost’s New York office is in the stylish, affluent Chelsea neighborhood, and the Denver office is in the old Pony Express building. With the Austin office’s sleek design and trendy, urban surroundings, “Austin is now on par with our other locations."
