One way companies have successfully dodged Austin's increasing commercial real estate prices is by offering coworking spaces for their smaller teams and remote workers.

It's a cool concept that continues to grow in popularity as businesses seek out alternatives to renting out full offices. 

Take a look through 16 of Austin's communal work spots, each offering a unique take on the coworking trend. 

 

Location: Downtown, Nueces Street

Rates: $349/month for a seat; $595/month for a desk

Bonuses: Conference rooms, weekly mentors and workshops, free coffee and snacks

 

Location: Downtown, Brazos and San Jacinto streets

Rates: $25/day drop in; from $375/month

Bonuses: 28,000 square feet of eco-friendly space across two floors, outdoor deck, built-in connectivity, communications and collaboration tools

 

Location: North Austin, Anderson Lane

Rates: from $300/month
