JASK raises Series B with plans to double Austin headcount
JASK, a California-based cybersecurity startup with a second headquarters in Austin, raised a $25 million Series B last week. Kleiner Perkins led the round, which included participation from existing investors Battery Ventures, Dell Technologies Capital, TenEleven Ventures and Vertical Venture Partners. June’s funding announcement brings JASK’s total funding to $39 million since its 2015 launch. The company has 50 employees locally, with plans to double its headcount by the end of the year. Cerebri AI secures $5M investment
Microsoft’s venture fund, M12, led Cerebri AI’s $5 million Series A. The startup, which develops AI capable of detecting and predicting when a customer is ready to purchase, will use the funding to grow its operations and support teams. TrendKite makes two acquisitions to boost PR platform
TrendKite announced that it has made its first acquisitions with the purchase of two social tech companies to bolster its PR analytics solutions. Insightpool, which provides a database of social media influencers, and Union Metrics, which tracks social conversations around a news story, will now be integrated into TrendKite’s platform. TrendKite CEO Erik Huddleston said that as of right now, the two products will be packaged as standalone products. Both companies’ teams will move forward as part of TrendKite. [TechCrunch]
TenantCloud adds $3M in funding
TenantCloud, the Austin startup behind the rental accounting and management platform, closed just over $3 million in funding according to a filing with the state. Four undisclosed investors participated in the round, which puts TenantCloud’s total fundings to nearly $5 million since its 2014 launch. The company did not issue a statement. [FormDs]
Favor offers free beer and wine delivery through the end of summer
Favor will deliver beer and wine in under one hour through the end of summer from selected H-E-B locations throughout Texas. The on-demand delivery service, which H-E-B acquired in February, said alcohol delivery is its most requested service.
