Everlywell shipping COVID-19 tests to hospitals and healthcare companies. The startup, which provides at-home tests for a wide range of health and wellness purposes, told Fast Company that its current batch of COVID-19 tests will go to “hospitals and healthcare companies with workers on the front lines only.” Following the Food and Drug Administration approval of its tests last week, the company announced that it would ship tests directly to consumers starting Monday. However, on Friday, the FDA issued a clarification that its authorization does not cover testing processes that involve at-home sample collection. [Built In Austin]

Favor waived restaurant commission fees. The on-demand delivery service waived all fees for independent restaurants in Texas. This is in an effort to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on restaurant profits. [AustinInno]
