Austin tech had a big week, with a new unicorn and new office announcements. Keep reading to see what these companies are up to next. This is the Built In Austin weekly refresh.

Elevate Brands opened an Austin office. Elevate Brands has raised $372 million this year following a recent funding round which brought in $55 million. Business has been booming for Elevate Brands, which buys and operates Amazon third-party businesses has been booming. The New York-based company opened a second headquarters in Austin in March and last week, relocated local employees from a co-working space at Galvanize to a 5,000-square-foot office space. [Built In Austin]

Miro announced plans to open a 72,000-square-foot office. San Francisco-based Miro will lease space in Colorado Tower and move its team from a coworking space to the new office in the spring of 2022. The new office will cater to the growing team, which Miro expects to grow even more within the next year. The company plans to hire up to 200 roles by January. Miro is an online collaborative whiteboard platform allowing teams and organizations to share ideas. [Built In Austin]

ZenBusiness reaches unicorn status. The company raised $200 million in its latest funding round, bringing its valuation to $1.7 billion. Austin’s newest tech unicorn ZenBusiness helps small businesses by providing them with step-by-step directions on how to create an LLC, file documents and stay legally compliant. The new funding will help ZenBusiness hire across several departments and expand its platform. [Built In Austin]

MilkRun raised $6M. MilkRun is a subscription service that partners with small, local farmers to deliver staple groceries such as produce, dairy and meat, while skipping middleman steps like repackaging and delivery. Half of the proceeds MilkRun makes go to local farmers and producers. MilkRun, which relocated to Austin in 2020, plans to expand its services to the East Coast in the near future. [Built In Austin]

Code42 opened new offices. The Minneapolis-based startup announced two new office spaces in Atlanta and Austin. Code42 is a cybersecurity company that specializes in insider risk management, working to protect an organization’s data. Both office spaces are intended to be collaborative and leave room for expansion. The company is currently hiring for several roles across various teams. [Built In Austin]

Ladder raised $6.5M. The strength training app raised $6.5 million in seed funding from LivWell Ventures, Keller Captial and others. Ladder gives users workout plans with the social aspect of a personal trainer but without the high cost of one. The seed funding will help grow its team. [Crunchbase]
