Four years after moving to the outskirts of Austin, legal software company DISCO has moved its global headquarters downtown to the One Eleven Congress building.

DISCO launched in 2012 when Kiwi Camara and Kent Radford branched out from their Houston law firm to create a software firm that uses artificial intelligence to find relevant discovery materials amongst a large volume of legal documents. The platform has since expanded to assist with legal document review and case management.

DISCO moved its headquarters to Austin in 2018, opening an office at 3700 North Capital of Texas Highway.

The company announced Monday that it relocated its global headquarters to a 46,000-square-foot office in the 30-story skyscraper at 111 Congress Ave. The company said in a statement that the new office will seat about 40 percent of its more than 600 employees.

Camara, the company’s CEO, said in a statement that he is excited to bring the company downtown and to continue to contribute to Austin’s innovative tech community.

“When we moved DISCO’s headquarters from Houston to Austin in 2018, I predicted that the talent in this city would accelerate our vision to make DISCO the company of record for legal — and that bet is paying off,” he said.

DISCO went public last year, and in February, acquired legal workflow products Hold360 and Request360. DISCO opened an office in New York City last month and plans to open offices in Canada and continental Europe as the company expands internationally.

DISCO is currently hiring for roles in sales, marketing, engineering, professional services and human resources.
