EnergyX got $450MWorking to develop next-gen lithium batteries, EnergyX raised funds from Global Emerging Markets. EnergyX also builds technology for lithium extraction, processing and refinement. Topl raised $15M. The Austin-based startup developed a blockchain protocol that tracks and monetizes a company’s environmental, social and governance (ESG) efforts. The Series A round, co-led by Mercury, Republic Asia and Cryptology Asset Group, will be used to further Topl’s growth and launch at least 100 applications within the next year. [Built In Austin]
