From marketing tech to health tech, Austin’s tech scene was well-represented on Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5,000 fastest-growing privately-held businesses in the U.S.

The Inc. 5000 list, which was published today, featured 135 Austin-area companies, which is a slight increase from the 109 Austin-area companies featured last year.

The companies were ranked based on the percentage of revenue growth they experienced between 2018 and 2021.

Formed in 2016, AdOutreach is a video advertising agency that helps businesses generate sales through YouTube ads. This is the second year in a row that AdOutreach topped the list of Austin tech companies on the Inc. 5000. The agency jumped in the rankings this year from no. 87 to no. 60. The company’s revenue has increased by 6,052 percent over the last three years, according to Inc.

Formed in 2015, Webforce is a customer relationship management platform that helps businesses market, sell and deliver their products to customers online. After ranking no. 152 on last year’s Inc. 5000 list, Webforce has now broken into the top 100 with 6,009 percent growth over the past three years, according to Inc.

Homestead Brands made the Inc. 5000 for a second consecutive year, after ranking no. 98 last year. The company, which has been bootstrapped since its launch in 2008, acquires, scales and operates direct-to-consumer e-commerce brands, including porch swing company Organic Swings and Lori Wall Beds, which produces wooden Murphy beds. Homestead Brands’ revenue grew 3,839 percent over the past three years, according to Inc.

Digital Thrive is a full-service marketing firm that specializes in direct response marketing and call center strategies. According to its website, Digital Thrive executes multi-platform marketing campaigns with the help of its proprietary technology platform, which routes calls and leads based on performance data, real-time API lookups and other signals. Over the last three years, the company has grown its revenue 3,056 percent, according to Inc.

Everlywell, formed in 2015 to provide people with at-home medical tests for everything from hormone levels to STIs, has seen massive growth in recent years. That company is now one of four companies owned by parent brand Everly Health, which formed in 2021 with the acquisitions of PWNHealth and Home Access Health Corporation. Last year, Everly Health acquired women’s health startup Natalist. The company’s revenue has grown 2,643 percent over the past three years, according to Inc. Its growth has been spurred by $325 million in venture capital, including a $75 million addition to its $175 million Series D round.
