Insight Health, an Austin-based provider of healthcare technology solutions, recently secured $11 million in a Series A funding round led by Standard Capital. The company’s platform deploys AI agents to handle routine administrative tasks for health clinics.
Insight Health’s agents engage with patients via voice or text, garnering information like their medical history or medication updates to help with screening, EHR processing and referrals. Aiming to ultimately improve patient experiences, operational efficiency and a practice’s revenue, Insight Health also offers in-visit solutions, including an ambient scribe that captures EHR documentation for clinicians in real time.
“Healthcare organizations are stuck in the impossible position of meeting rising patient demand among budget constraints and mounting administrative burdens, which means patients will ultimately fall through the cracks,” Jaimal Soni, Insight Health’s co-founder and CEO, said in a statement. “Something has to change, and the healthcare organizations that embrace the power of AI to alleviate these challenges will be the ones that thrive and better serve their patients.”
Equipped with its latest capital injection, Insight Health plans to invest in product development and expand its partnerships with nationwide healthcare systems.
