Own optomechanical subsystems for robotic counter-drone platforms, including mounts, housings, alignment, athermalization, shock and vibration performance, sealing, testing, and production support. Design and validate assemblies exposed to recoil, harsh weather, and thermal extremes. Develop error budgets, drawings, fixtures, and test procedures; collaborate with optical designers, suppliers, and technicians; and support field testing and manufacturing scale-up.

Design and implement embedded robotics software for autonomous interceptor platforms. Develop real-time control loops, PID and advanced control algorithms, actuator and motor-driver interfaces, CAN communication, sensor fusion, and state estimation. Integrate camera and IMU data on NVIDIA Jetson systems, translate vision tracking into motor commands, and build Python tools for calibration, logging, and CI/CD. The role involves hands-on hardware testing, rapid prototyping, and collaboration in an onsite defense startup environment.
