Hands-on full‑stack engineer building secure, scalable enterprise applications and integrations. Work spans React frontends (chatbot UIs), Java/Spring Boot and Python backends, RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud-native deployments (Azure/AWS), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), CI/CD, and collaboration with product and architecture teams to ensure quality, security, and operational readiness.

The Senior Consultant Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, deploys, and supports secure, scalable software solutions. Responsibilities include agile planning, paired programming, TDD, CI/CD pipeline maintenance, production support, system design, technical leadership, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior engineers. The role requires Java and J2EE development experience, familiarity with DevOps, testing, security scanning, and messaging technologies, plus preferred experience with REST APIs, databases, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms.

Handles complex specialty vehicle material damage claims, including RV and commercial vehicle appraisals, repairability assessments, total-loss evaluations, settlements, coverage investigations, and fraud or subrogation referrals. Provides technical assistance, training, quality reviews, and subject-matter expertise to claims staff, appraisers, repair shops, and vendors. Maintains policy and regulatory knowledge, completes estimates, participates in catastrophe events, and conducts field audits, ride-alongs, and training while traveling as needed.
