Conduct and lead applied research on PK–12 education finance and funding policy. Design studies, analyze fiscal and administrative data, estimate costs of adequate education, support policymakers, prepare reports and presentations, pursue funding proposals, and mentor junior staff.

The Managing Director will lead CALDER, oversee strategic direction, manage research projects, develop partnerships, and expand AIR's influence in K-12 education policy through rigorous data-driven evidence.
