Leads industry growth strategy for Aprio’s Risk Services practice, focusing primarily on pipeline management, account planning, lead generation, client expansion, and revenue growth. Develops go-to-market, capacity, and marketing plans; analyzes sales and marketing metrics; coaches pursuit teams; manages pipeline reviews; supports CRM adoption and merger integrations; and directs events, outbound campaigns, sales assets, thought leadership, and public relations initiatives.

Provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services; oversee tax return preparation and filing; develop tax strategies; advise clients; manage client relationships; mentor tax professionals; and coordinate departmental workloads, projects, and training. The role requires experience with federal tax consulting or compliance, corporate, S-Corporation, and partnership returns, along with accounting firm experience and tax software knowledge.

Own relationships with a portfolio of 60–75 clients, providing accounting and strategic business guidance. Translate financial and operational data into actionable recommendations on growth, profitability, efficiency, and tax considerations. Coordinate internal accounting and tax teams, proactively address client needs, manage competing priorities, and deliver a high-touch client experience. Dental industry expertise is preferred.

Support clients with tax notices, audits, and debt collections by analyzing notices, preparing responses, developing audit defense strategies, negotiating with tax authorities, conducting legal research, drafting appeals and settlement documents, and maintaining client communication while staying current on tax laws.

Lead and manage M&A tax engagements including due diligence, deal structuring, sell-side work, and post-transaction support. Advise clients on tax implications, perform technical research (Sections 382/338/1202, partnerships, consolidated returns), review financial/tax data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and develop tools and best practices. Hybrid role with up to 25% travel.

Lead and operate security control domains (identity, cloud, network, endpoint, monitoring). Deploy and harden tools, author architecture and runbooks, lead cross-team rollouts, mentor engineers, support SOC detection/response, and maintain audit-ready evidence and automation.

The Senior Application Developer is responsible for application design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance, mentoring developers, and managing client relationships while ensuring project delivery aligns with scope and budget.

Manage technical tax credits and incentives (TC&I) engagements: lead credit calculations, eligibility analyses, modeling, and substantiation; review associate work; analyze clean energy credits and monetization options; evaluate bonus credit criteria; translate new guidance into engagement steps; coordinate timelines, budgets, and offshore training.
