The role requires an active Secret clearance, extensive systems engineering experience, EVMS certification, and CAM experience.

Leads the design, analysis, integration, testing, manufacturing transition, and production support of advanced opto-mechanical EO/IR military systems. Responsibilities include designing lasers, sensors, receivers, motion systems, and gimbals; performing thermal, structural, stress, and vibration analyses; developing documentation and test equipment; troubleshooting manufacturing and test issues; and leading multidisciplinary hardware engineering teams through the product lifecycle.
