Reviews and reconciles default mortgage insurance claims for accuracy and compliance with investor and insurer requirements. Validates expenses, taxes, insurance, interest curtailments, and claim documentation; identifies and resolves errors before submission. Performs audits, documents claim activity, escalates trends, and meets strict filing deadlines while managing multiple priorities.

Performs financial reconciliation and loss analysis for liquidated mortgage loans, verifies claim proceeds, prepares supplemental claims and posting tickets, and ensures accurate documentation. Investigates avoidable losses, supports quality reviews, follows GSE and government-insured claim guidelines, recommends process improvements, and escalates compliance issues. Requires mortgage default servicing knowledge, accounting and reconciliation skills, strong written communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and LoanServ.

Supervise investor reporting and accounting activities for assigned mortgage investor groups. Review monthly reports, remittances, reconciliations, and compliance deliverables; resolve escalated issues; communicate with investors and trustees; and manage reporting deadlines. Lead special projects, investor system setup, process improvements, and documentation. Train, mentor, and help manage staff, including workflow assignment, performance feedback, hiring participation, and ensuring contractual and regulatory requirements are met.
