Teams at Ciena

Lead design and standardization of FP&A processes, data lineage, governance, and reporting. Drive process redesign, align requirements with planning platforms and ERPs, enable analytics/AI initiatives, deliver executive dashboards and KPIs, and lead governance and continuous improvement for global finance performance.

Manage VAR partner relationships and a large Tier‑1 service provider account to drive purchase orders, forecasting, inventory alignment, bookings, revenue, and margin. Coordinate across sales, supply chain, and demand planning; create strategic commercial plans covering hardware, software, and services; represent Ciena with executive presence and stakeholder management.

Onsite at Scott AFB, provide SME engineering for Ciena product integration: design and execute test plans, commission DWDM/SONET/TDM equipment, validate interoperability, perform lab pre-commissioning, train customers on Ciena NMS, troubleshoot and document configurations, and support network modernization. Requires active clearance and travel up to 25%.
