Project Engineer Interns assist with managing large design-build construction projects from concept through closeout. Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, engineers, planners, clients, and subcontractors; managing design schedules, budgets, forecasts, costs, and project execution; and supporting senior project managers. The role requires nationwide travel, job-site mobility, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and familiarity with construction practices.

Support BIM/VDC workflows from design through project completion: facilitate 2D/3D coordination, model missing content, perform 4D/5D schedule and cost analyses, run clash detection and assist conflict resolution, and produce material quantity take-offs for estimating.

Manage project financial strategy, budgets, cost control, change orders, billings, forecasts, and cost reporting. Work with project teams, accounting, subcontractors, and executives to identify variances, risks, and ensure cost accuracy and quality control.
