Leads the Clinical Documentation Improvement team, overseeing inpatient record reviews, physician queries, coding accuracy, APR-DRG assignments, reimbursement compliance, education, reporting, and performance analysis. Collaborates with physicians, coders, case managers, quality teams, and other healthcare professionals to improve documentation completeness, severity-of-illness reporting, risk-of-mortality data, and billing accuracy. Provides subject-matter expertise, supports compliance reviews and appeals, and assists with team workflow, training, and program development.
