Lead the design, development, and operation of high-scale backend services in Go. Improve APIs, content delivery pipelines, media orchestration, reliability, performance, and resiliency across distributed systems. Partner with Product and engineering teams on architecture, technical planning, testing, observability, incident follow-up, and production support. Drive backend initiatives end to end and contribute to long-term platform strategy.

Owns end-to-end manual testing, QA process design, bug triage, release coordination, test documentation, and quality culture across Product, Engineering, and Support. The role serves as the final QA gate for releases, validates software across configurations and environments, supports mobile and hardware testing, collaborates on CI/CD pipelines, and provides stakeholder reporting. It may also mentor or help grow the QA function and use automation and AI-agent tools to expand test coverage.

Lead and grow a 5–10 person engineering team responsible for backend services, device platform, and applications across a large in‑store media network. Own delivery, technical standards, code quality, observability, and partnership with Product; run team cadence, hiring, performance conversations, and recover off‑track projects.

Build and maintain an Android-based embedded digital signage/media platform focusing on media playback, device management, content delivery, and long‑running device reliability across a fleet of 24/7 devices.
