Owns balance sheet accounts, reconciliations, month-end close, journal entries, and financial analysis. Investigates discrepancies, resolves accounting issues, maintains documentation, supports audits, and manages accounting processes through completion. The role also mentors Staff Accountants and drives improvements to controls, reporting, automation, and process scalability.

Manages a business operations unit by monitoring performance metrics, improving processes, overseeing caseload distribution, ensuring compliance, developing staff, maintaining State agency relationships, resolving escalated complaints, and reporting program effectiveness to leadership.

Designs, develops, and maintains standardized training programs and multimedia learning resources. Partners with subject matter experts and stakeholders to define learning objectives, translate complex processes into actionable content, and apply adult learning principles. Creates instructor-led and self-directed training, manages accessibility and version control, supports trainers, and measures training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics.
