Supervise staff accountants, review and deliver financial statements, dashboards, KPIs, and forecasts, and maintain strong client relationships. Lead client onboarding, coordinate year-end tax handoffs, provide accounting guidance, train team members, resolve technical issues, and improve firm processes. The role also includes project tracking, client communication, administrative documentation, continuing education, and ensuring timely, accurate deliverables in a fully remote CPA firm.

Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-corporation, corporate, gift, and trust tax returns and supporting workpapers. Identify missing client information, communicate with clients, resolve tax notices, prepare Form 3115 and 1031 exchange reporting, and support proposals, training materials, and workpaper projects. Maintain accuracy, timeliness, confidentiality, and professional ethics while developing technical skills through CPE and pursuing CPA or EA licensing.

Conduct discovery meetings with qualified leads, explain tax planning and accounting services, identify client needs, develop tailored outreach, cultivate channel partnerships, source opportunities, and close deals while achieving quarterly sales goals. The role requires strong communication, presentation, listening, organization, CRM proficiency, and autonomous remote-work capabilities.
