Lead high-voltage substation design for utility, municipal, and industrial power delivery projects from 69kV to 500kV. Develop layouts, grounding, protection, control, AC/DC systems, calculations, specifications, and construction documents. Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, review technical deliverables, support project estimating and scheduling, mentor junior staff, and provide construction and field support through submittal reviews, RFIs, site visits, and field observations.

Designs and integrates SCADA, substation automation, control systems, and communication networks for power delivery infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing control schemes, integrating IEDs, RTUs, PLCs, and protective relays, coordinating DNP3, IEC 61850, and Modbus communications, designing fiber and IP networks, reviewing technical documentation, and supporting testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system modernization. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary engineering teams, utilities, operations centers, and IT/OT stakeholders.

Leads air quality permitting and compliance projects, conducts emissions inventories, dispersion modeling, and risk assessments, prepares regulatory applications, and coordinates with agencies and clients. Provides technical guidance on air regulations and emission controls, manages project budgets and proposals, supports business development, and mentors junior staff.
