Supports U.S. tax compliance, reporting, and advisory activities, including current and deferred tax provisions under IFRS, cross-border U.S.-Canada tax matters, treaty interpretation, withholding tax, and tax due diligence for transactions and reorganizations. Provides practical guidance to internal stakeholders and collaborates with Finance, Legal, Actuarial, and Investments teams. The role requires strong U.S. taxation expertise, analytical judgment, and attention to detail.

Provides strategic leadership for the U.S. tax function, overseeing tax compliance, tax accounting, financial reporting, risk mitigation, governance, and process improvement. Partners with Finance, Legal, Treasury, and business leaders to align tax priorities with enterprise objectives. Leads and develops a high-performing tax team while ensuring regulatory compliance, strong controls, timely reporting, and scalable operating processes.

Leads risk analytics and portfolio strategy across vehicle service contracts, GAP, and ancillary products. Analyzes profitability, claims trends, reserves, underwriting, pricing, and emerging risks; develops forecasts, KPIs, dashboards, stress tests, and executive reporting. Partners with actuarial, finance, claims, product, sales, and IT teams to automate reporting and apply AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to improve risk selection, operational efficiency, and portfolio growth.
