Lead state, local, and education (SLED) engagement to drive IonQ adoption; influence state policy and funding; partner with regional sales and universities; monitor legislation; capture procurement opportunities; represent IonQ in coalitions; advise leadership on regulations and procurement cycles; manage external consultants.

Lead the development and execution of proposals for federal and commercial space opportunities, ensuring alignment with technical solutions and customer requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop strategies for competitive pursuits.

Provide technical customer enablement for IonQ's quantum computing platform: onboard users, troubleshoot incidents, guide integrations and workflows, collect feedback, create documentation and demos, and liaise between customers and engineering to improve the product experience.

Lead design and customer engagements to make networks quantum-safe: inventory cryptography, design migration paths to PQC and hybrid key exchange, run proofs-of-concept (including QKD where relevant), produce reference architectures and playbooks, influence standards, and provide technical authority across sales, product, and engineering.

Lead and grow relationships with Federal Systems Integrators, VARs, and Defense Industrial Base partners to drive business development across DoD, IC, and civilian programs. Manage account and joint-partnership plans, co-sell strategies, partner pipeline, and capture activities for IDIQ/GWAC procurements. Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure technical, legal, and clearance compliance; develop partner enablement and represent IonQ at industry events.

The Senior Microwave Research Scientist will design and integrate microwave circuits for qubit control, lead validation efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on quantum computing applications.

Administer and maintain IonQ's Salesforce Government Cloud org for federal sales: govern access and compliance, build declarative enhancements, manage data quality and releases, support Salesforce Shield controls and audits, produce reports/dashboards, triage federal requests, lead UAT, and maintain documentation and runbooks.
