Manage scheduling of spacecraft communications via NASA Deep Space Network: generate R&CL requirements, create schedules in SSS, resolve conflicts, maintain flight view periods, coordinate with JPL/DSN stakeholders, produce reports and plots, and operate CAST/SPS tools while supporting proposals and process improvements.

Design and model mechanical components and mounts for optical elements; produce detailed CAD drawings and fabrication/assembly drawings; develop prototypes, fixtures, assembly and test procedures; support optical subsystem integration and testing; lead design concepts and trade studies; assess development and manufacturing risks and mitigation; collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams; present technical results. Prior spaceflight/NASA experience preferred.

The role involves developing strategic proposals, creating compelling graphics, and mentoring junior team members, requiring strong project management and communication skills.
