Leads planning, coordination, transition, and execution of Antarctic traverse operations. Coordinates personnel, cargo, fuel, scientific equipment, routes, fleet readiness, safety, risk management, stakeholder activities, performance reporting, budgeting, and resource allocation across remote field locations and stations.

Leads logistics and operational support in Punta Arenas for Antarctic deployments, overseeing cargo, warehousing, transportation, traveler services, contractors, facilities, budgets, compliance, and stakeholder coordination. Develops operational plans and performance metrics while ensuring safe, efficient movement of personnel, equipment, and supplies between global locations and Antarctica.

Design and model mechanical components and mounts for optical elements, create detailed fabrication/assembly drawings, develop assembly and test procedures, support subsystem integration and testing, lead design concepts and trade studies, evaluate risks and mitigation strategies, collaborate with engineers and technicians, and present technical results. Prior spaceflight/NASA experience supported.
