Provide pre-admission testing, preoperative assessment, and post-anesthesia (PACU) nursing care. Perform vitals, IV initiation, EKGs, blood draws, medication administration, monitoring, documentation, patient/family education, wound care, transfusion management, and emergency interventions to ensure safe recovery and readiness for discharge or transfer.

The RN PreOp PACU PAT nurse is responsible for pre-operative patient assessments, administering anesthesia care, and post-operative monitoring, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the surgical process.
