Provides perioperative nursing care as the physician’s primary surgical first assistant. Responsibilities include intraoperative assistance, instrument and tissue handling, hemostasis, suturing, postoperative management, rounds, documentation, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare providers.

Provide pre-admission testing (PAT), pre-op and post-anesthesia (PACU) nursing care: assessments, vital monitoring, IV initiation, medication administration, patient education, post-op recovery, documentation, and emergency interventions.

Provide pre-admission testing, preoperative assessment, and post-anesthesia (PACU) nursing care. Perform vitals, IV initiation, EKGs, blood draws, medication administration, monitoring, documentation, patient/family education, wound care, transfusion management, and emergency interventions to ensure safe recovery and readiness for discharge or transfer.
