Teams at Mapbox

Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of AI-powered capabilities across Mapbox Maps. Partner with engineering, customers, and cross-functional teams to identify use cases, prioritize development, validate solutions, and launch products. Manage pricing and packaging, sales enablement, marketing, trials, and partnerships while driving customer adoption, business growth, and scalable experiences for developers and end users.

Own the technical design and delivery of multi-component AI systems, including LLM-backed features, agent tool orchestration, evaluation frameworks, data pipelines, and model harnesses. Build reliable APIs, SDKs, and feedback loops; optimize latency and cost; assess external models and datasets; and support production systems through on-call rotation. Mentor engineers and collaborate across search, location intelligence, and platform teams.

Leads Mapbox’s developer relations strategy and team, building programs that grow developer engagement, adoption, and advocacy. Responsibilities include community development, technical content, events, demos, webinars, developer partnerships, feedback synthesis, and cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales. The role establishes program metrics, scales developer relations processes, and remains hands-on through technical communication and map-powered application demonstrations.
