Provides operating-unit support for refinery process control systems, including monitoring performance, troubleshooting hardware and software, managing system lifecycle activities, coordinating vendors, leading management of change, and supporting capital projects. The role performs system upgrades, incident investigations, application support, training, documentation, reliability improvements, and process-control standards development. It requires occasional extended-hours and emergency response, refinery-site access, on-call availability, up to 10% travel, and a valid driver’s license.

Provides troubleshooting and technical support for rotating and fixed equipment. Applies reliability analytics, failure evaluations, and cost analysis to improve equipment performance. Develops project requests with financial justification, supports decision packages, champions Management of Change activities, establishes equipment monitoring plans and control limits, and verifies repairs meet or exceed OEM specifications.

Safely conduct marine barge transfers in accordance with company procedures and USCG regulations. Troubleshoot barges, perform minor maintenance, operate heaters on hot oil barges, document transfer activity, maintain equipment, audit third-party Tankerman, train new Tankerman, interface with customers, and participate in safety activities. The role requires field work on barges, vessels, fleets, and terminals in varied weather, day or night, including remote locations within a 200-mile radius of Texas City, Texas.
