The Assistant General Counsel, Corporate, will oversee SEC reporting, corporate governance, board support, insider trading compliance, and legal support for corporate transactions. This role requires extensive public company securities expertise, strong drafting skills, and collaborative leadership across departments.

Lead Marqeta's global total rewards strategy, overseeing compensation, variable pay, equity, and benefits programs. Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership and the Compensation Committee, ensure regulatory and equity compliance globally, drive benchmarking and continuous improvement, and build a high-performing compensation and benefits team.

Lead the technical roadmap and design for Marqeta's core issuing and processing platform. Drive high-impact initiatives to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Write, review, and optimize code across the stack, partner with product, mentor technical leads, and evangelize best practices for resiliency, security, and multi-region systems.
