Transaction advisory intern supporting buy-side and sell-side deal teams by compiling and analyzing target company financial data in Microsoft Excel, identifying issues relevant to investment decisions, participating in executive discussions, and collaborating with associates and partners throughout transaction engagements.

Tax interns prepare federal income tax returns, assist with tax consulting projects, and complete returns independently. They receive training on tax software and procedures, collaborate with associates and partners, attend production meetings, and participate in professional development. The internship runs mid-February through mid-April, requires 40–55 hours weekly, and is fully in-person in Austin or Round Rock, Texas.

Lead client tax engagements from start to finish, managing compliance deadlines, filing requirements, tax planning, consulting, billing, and collections. Advise business entities and owners on multi-state taxation and complex transactions. Coach and mentor junior associates while delivering high-quality client service, conducting tax research, and supporting professional development in a collaborative public accounting environment.
