Assign and coordinate nightly news coverage, manage incoming information, mine social media and sources, write and publish digital stories, post to social channels, send push alerts, and keep nightside newsroom operations organized.

Produce and anchor live breaking news, weather and events across connected TV, YouTube and social platforms; develop livestream concepts; create VOD and vertical social video; optimize YouTube packaging; analyze audience data; report enterprise, investigative and daily news for Central Texas and collaborate with the newsroom.

Report and produce original investigative and accountability-driven stories by filing public records requests, analyzing documents and data, building sources, and producing multi-platform journalism for television, digital, streaming and social. Collaborate on longform projects, turn breaking news into accountability reporting, and present stories on-air.

Report and produce education news for all platforms: research, shoot, write, voice, edit, and present stories. Arrange interviews, fact-check, pitch story ideas, interact on social media, and meet editorial and production standards.

Assist Chief Engineer overseeing daily engineering operations, maintain broadcast technology at studio and transmitter sites, manage equipment, fiber and A/V systems, ensure FCC and regulatory compliance, coordinate vendors and vehicle fleet, and support technical projects and installations.
