Provides high-level administrative and operational support to the VP of Manufacturing Operations. Responsibilities include complex calendar management, meeting coordination, domestic and international travel arrangements, executive communications, confidential information handling, stakeholder coordination, onsite events and leadership visits, expense processing, follow-through on priorities, and process improvement. The role is primarily onsite in San Jose with occasional support at the Sunnyvale facility.

Lead Wi-Fi standardization research and delegation activities for Nokia, developing novel concepts for future Wi-Fi generations and promoting them through IEEE 802.11 and the Wi-Fi Alliance. Collaborate with industry partners, develop standards contributions, present technical ideas, and contribute to Wi-Fi link and system simulation platforms. Apply academic or standards experience, including AI/ML expertise in PHY and MAC layers, to advance wireless technologies.

Lead 6G physical-layer research and standardization covering MIMO, initial access, RF performance, AI-native PHY, Layer 1 control, and coexistence. Develop and validate radio concepts through link-level and system-level simulations, create intellectual property, define AI-enabled PHY evaluation methods, and represent Nokia in 3GPP and research forums. Shape long-term 6G technology strategy while collaborating with RAN, RF, regulatory, and systems teams.
