Manage infrastructure, design/deploy critical systems, support microservices and CI/CD workflows, ensure reliability and SLAs, collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize operational burden and automate satellite operations.

Design, build, and operate Planet's scalable object and metadata storage platform. Own backend services, Elasticsearch indexing, search, event notification, and disaster recovery. Measure performance, create alerts, be on call, drive system design and architecture, mentor engineers, and contribute to the technical roadmap for highly available, cloud-native data infrastructure.

Build bespoke, mission-critical full-stack software for strategic (defense) customers: front-end, back-end, data integration, cloud (AWS/GCP), and CI/CD. Translate customer needs into technical requirements, mentor engineers, leverage AI tooling for rapid iteration, and deliver reliable solutions while traveling to customer sites.
