Teams at QTS Data Centers

Leads design, preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, and project closeout for data center development projects. Manages contractors, designers, engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders; reviews proposals, pay applications, and change orders; presents executive updates; coordinates equipment procurement; and supports site due diligence and development planning. Requires commercial construction expertise, strong communication, budgeting, and project leadership skills, with travel up to 25%.

Serves as QTS’s local representative, building relationships with residents, businesses, officials, and community organizations. Manages complaints, public opposition, stakeholder engagement, community meetings, project updates, and engagement strategies. Provides insights on community sentiment and risks while supporting government relations, permitting, communications, media engagement, and community partnerships for data center development projects.

As the Principal DCIM Design Engineer, you will lead design standards for data center infrastructure, manage teams, develop control systems, and ensure scalable solutions are in place for QTS's global infrastructure.
