Generate and qualify sales opportunities through inbound prospect engagement, discovery conversations, relationship building, and effective handoffs to Account Executives. Maintain accurate Salesforce records, meet pipeline and conversion targets, collaborate with Marketing, and develop expertise in data streaming, cloud infrastructure, and Redpanda’s platform.

Own the post-sale technical relationship with customers, leading onboarding, architecture reviews, production launches, cluster health checks, usage reviews, and technical escalations. Partner with Support, Engineering, Product, and Solutions Architecture to resolve issues, communicate customer requirements, improve adoption, and drive technical success, expansion, and retention.

The Solutions Engineer partners with sales to qualify and close opportunities, deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations, lead proof-of-concepts, prototype integrations, and address customer technical objections. The role collaborates with product, engineering, and support teams to solve customer challenges and improve adoption. Candidates should understand infrastructure and streaming technologies, including Kafka, and be comfortable with programming, Linux, Kubernetes, and major cloud platforms.

Own and scale application security across Redpanda’s C++ engine, Go control plane, Console, and Rust/Go SDKs. Responsibilities include threat modeling, secure design reviews, SAST/SCA/DAST, fuzzing, secure code review, PSIRT and vulnerability disclosure, software supply-chain security, security release gates, and security champions. The role partners closely with engineering to improve secure development practices, address vulnerabilities, and protect authentication, authorization, encryption, audit logging, and multi-tenant isolation.

Leads high-stakes enterprise technology engagements from scoping through delivery. Manages customer and internal stakeholders, project plans, resourcing, risks, escalations, scope, and executive communications. Partners with sales and solutions engineering on handoffs, ensures success criteria are documented, and develops repeatable program playbooks. Requires technical fluency in distributed systems, streaming, and data infrastructure without hands-on coding responsibilities.

Build production-grade AI agents, integrations, data pipelines, and infrastructure directly within strategic customers’ environments. Own technical delivery from design through deployment, documentation, training, and handoff. Collaborate closely with customer engineering teams, work effectively in unfamiliar codebases, and provide technical feedback to Redpanda Product and Engineering. The role requires customer-facing communication, production software expertise, and travel of 30–50% during active engagements.
