The role requires hands-on development in SQL, Python, and PySpark, executive communication, technical team leadership, lakehouse architecture, Power BI modeling, production support, and secure data management. The director also directs AI coding agents, builds LLM-powered workflows, establishes engineering standards, and delivers reliable data products aligned with business priorities.

Leads national account risk placement activities for new and renewal commercial insurance business. Partners with sales and service teams, reviews applications, develops renewal strategies, prepares submissions and proposals, negotiates terms with carriers, and maintains carrier and client relationships. The role also mentors placement staff, oversees onboarding, supports hiring, ensures regulatory compliance, and uses AMS360, ImageRight, and AI tools to document and improve service processes.
