Owns day-to-day corporate bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and account reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close support, aging reports, and financial summaries. The role also supports year-end close, tax preparation, 1099 filing, audits, vendor and customer records, and collections. It requires independent remote work, strong accounting software and spreadsheet skills, US GAAP knowledge, accurate communication, and experience supporting US-based companies.

Own the company’s day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, aging reports, and month-end close support. Maintain vendor and customer records, process payments and invoices, follow up on overdue balances, support year-end tax preparation and audits, and coordinate with the outside CPA. The role requires accurate, independent work during US business hours in a remote environment.

Manage insurance verification, benefits information, and prior authorizations for physical therapy patients. Communicate with insurers, track authorization requests, maintain accurate records, process HIPAA-compliant medical records requests, and support clinical and administrative teams. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, communication skills, independent work, Central Time availability, and a reliable backup system for outages.
