The Controller oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, job costing, WIP and percentage-of-completion accounting, cash flow, payroll, compliance, internal controls, and construction project profitability. This role supervises accounting staff, manages budgeting and forecasting, coordinates with external financial professionals, and advises executive leadership on financial performance, risks, contracts, and strategic decisions.

Supports commercial construction project management through documentation, procurement, submittals, RFIs, meeting packages, minutes, and closeout documents. Interprets plans and specifications, maintains project logs in Procore, supports project teams, and follows company procedures. The role requires strong organization, communication, financial and mathematical skills, technology proficiency, dependability, customer service, and collaboration. A construction-related bachelor's degree and knowledge of Procore and Viewpoint are preferred but not required.

Leads commercial construction projects from planning through completion, coordinating owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams. Manages project risks, budgets, invoices, pay applications, change orders, scheduling, and subcontractor buyouts. Builds client relationships, supports business development, and leads project teams. Requires strong construction management, financial, communication, planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills, plus proficiency interpreting building plans and using construction scheduling software.
