Design HVAC systems for institutional and commercial buildings, including load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork, piping, controls, and mechanical drawings. Lead project teams, coordinate with owners, architects, and other disciplines, perform QA/QC and code compliance research, conduct field investigations, and guide junior engineers. Manage scheduling, quality control, and project progress while using AutoCAD and Revit for design documentation.

Design HVAC systems for schools, retail, mixed-use, and commercial buildings. Produce mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit, conduct field investigations, perform load calculations and equipment selection, and design wet- and dry-side systems. Coordinate quality control, scheduling, programming, and progress across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines. The role also requires knowledge of duct and piping design, air handlers, chillers, boilers, DDC controls, applicable building codes, Title 24, HAP, or Energy Pro.
