Own mechanical aircraft subsystems from concept through design, prototyping, integration, ground testing, flight testing, and deployment. Design structural and mechanical components, lead subsystem reviews, analyze loads and flight environments, iterate designs using test data, and partner with manufacturing to ensure scalability and reliability.

Lead architecture, design, integration, testing, and flight validation of critical autonomous aircraft structures and hardware. Own systems from concept through production, perform sizing, loads analysis, and trade studies, resolve interfaces across structures, avionics, propulsion, and payload systems, and partner with manufacturing on scalable designs. Participate in aircraft builds and flight-test campaigns while mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards.

Develop aircraft system requirements, interface definitions, acceptance criteria, and verification plans. Integrate hardware and software subsystems, support bench, simulation, ground, and flight testing, analyze telemetry and test data, investigate anomalies, and validate corrective actions. Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing, flight-test, and operations teams while maintaining configuration control and producing technical documentation. The role requires independent ownership of engineering workstreams involving autonomous aircraft and complex electromechanical systems.
