Responsibilities include load-flow, short-circuit, coordination, and arc-flash studies; microgrid, battery storage, and photovoltaic system modeling; equipment selection; engineering drawings and specifications; vendor coordination; and field site visits. The engineer may manage other discipline engineers and support domestic and international projects.

Designs and analyzes instrumentation and control systems for water, wastewater, power, industrial, microgrid, CHP, and campus facilities. Responsibilities include evaluating existing systems, preparing engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, estimates, and technical documentation, directing designers and technicians, evaluating alternatives, supporting construction and commissioning, coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining quality standards. Requires an ABET-accredited engineering degree, passed FE exam, at least four years of experience, and ability to obtain a PE license.

Manages medium to large, multidisciplinary power generation engineering projects from proposal through completion. Responsibilities include scope, schedule, budget, staffing, procurement, quality, risk, stakeholder communications, permitting, project performance, client relationships, change orders, and contract execution. Supports business development, analyzes profitability and resource utilization, maintains project records, and mentors project managers. Projects may involve thermal generation systems, including gas turbines, steam turbines, reciprocating engines, and balance of plant design.
